The Great Berean Blunder Award is a fun "incentive" program designed to accomplish two worthy goals:

1. To help me be the best preacher I can be.
2. To encourage careful listening and study in the congregation.

Here's how it works:

Listen carefully to my preaching, and follow along in your Bible. If you "catch" me making a mistake regarding information in my sermon, bring it to my attention. You can do this in person, or by emailing me.

If you prove to be right, the following Sunday I will acknowledge the error in church, and present you with a $10.00 gift certificate to a local Christian bookstore! Differences in opinion, or the interpretation of "debatable" passages of Scripture do not qualify for the Great Berean Blunder Award. To win the prize, you have to catch me in a factual error regarding the Bible or other information contained in my sermon. Are you ready?
